In practice, that comes down to a few habits we hold on every job.
Every production weld runs on a qualified welding procedure (WPS) by a welder qualified to it. Nobody guesses at settings.
We shield the torch side and purge the back side with argon. That keeps welds clean and corrosion resistant.
Each weld is inspected to the acceptance rules on your drawing. Results are written down, not just checked off.
If a drawing is unclear, we ask in writing before we cut or weld. That saves rework for both of us.
